The Company

The company was originally formed as Cumberland Molded Products in 1998 and then reformed as Cumberland Plastics Corporation in 2004. Cumberland Plastics Corporation DBA Cumberland Processing Center began with two employees and has grown to the size that it is today. Nissan North America is the company’s largest client, and we aim for transparency in all business transactions as well as ensuring quality in the services and products that we offer.

Sekhar Reddy

The President

Sekhar Reddy is the founder, company owner, and the president of Cumberland Plastics doing business as Cumberland Processing. His life and business experiences provide him with the knowledge to operate as company owner / manager. His degrees in engineering and finance give him a unique skill set to run this company and work with other Fortune 500 establishments. He has worked throughout the mid-state area in various leadership roles at Firestone, Samsonite Furniture, Hartmann Luggage, Berol Corporation and Sanford Newell Rubbermaid. He is dedicated to working with his clients to accommodate his customers. As president of the company, he oversees all satellite offices and Tennessee warehouses located in Woodbury, Smyrna, Manchester, McMinnville and Morrison. He has built relationships with M-TEK and Nissan North America. As of now, he employs more than 50 employees. Mr. Reddy wants customers satisfied with quality products and a safe work environment for employees. He lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife, four children and four grandchildren.
